Girl of the Holler, the live version, was filmed at the Arts Place in Danbury, NC in May 2025. Filmed and edited by the talented Brian Johnson, made possible by the generosity of dear friends John Croxton and Carol Newsom. Special thanks to the Stokes County Arts Council for letting us film at the Arts Place.

Just like the live show, Girl of the Holler is a one woman memoir, storytelling FILM about growing up in small time Appalachia with mental health issues and her relationship with her moonshiner father.

Funny and Poignant, Girl of the Holler runs about 1 hour and is now available to be booked by your club or organization.

Because of the subject matter and some adult language, Girl of the Holler is for mature audiences only.
